Today is one of those days I was in need of an afternoon “pick me up” while processing images at my computer. It’s only 3:00 in Las Vegas, but hey, I just got back from a trip to Illinois/Missouri, where it is in fact 5:00! I would like to introduce my viewers to my Espresso Martini which gives instant energy!
*Before you begin, place a martini glass in the freezer so it is nice and frosty.
- 1 oz of Espresso (if you don’t have an espresso machine, use espresso from your local coffee shop)
- 2 oz of Vanilla Vodka
- 2 oz of Kahlua
- 3 coffee beans (for garnish)
- If you want a really rich dessert type martini you can use Godiva chocolate liquor drizzled in the glass or good ole’ Hershey’s chocolate syrup. I myself skip those….
Pour all 3 ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until well chilled. The harder you shake, the more foam you will get on your martini. Pour into the chilled martini glass and top with coffee beans. Enjoy!
